he former Chairman Finance Bank, Zambia, Rajan Mahtani, has set his vision on 2017 for the purpose of expanding development activities in the region of Luapula Province. The 67-year old businessman from Zambia confirmed the news of development of bio-ethanol plant in 2015 in a joint venture with the UK Giant, Sunbird Group. The construction phase of the plant would be over by 2017 and after that the plant would be ready to roll out some essential help in the GDP growth of Zambia.
For the purpose of implementing development projects, it is important for the leaders as well the Government to work together. President Edgar Lungu has also offered appreciation to this project as he realizes the importance of this project for the people of Zambia. Development of an industry reflects independence, employment, growth, profits and ancillary industries. These factors can well been seen when it comes to development of the bio-ethanol plant.
However, the major challenge in respect of Rajan Mahtani is to overcome the hindrances which are constantly been placed by the conspirators. Ever since, the conspirators have lost to Rajan Mahtani at the Lusaka High Court in November 2015, they have continuously tried to defame him and in the sympathy of the public. May it be the Finance Bank Zambia or the Radisson Blu, the conspirators have left no stones unturned. With the development of bio-ethanol plant, we may expect some more stones being thrown in the path to development. Nevertheless, it is the duty of every Zambian to neglect these imaginative stories and move ahead in the path of development. Troubles, hindrances and conspiracies will come from people who are jealous of the developments, but as Zambians it is our duty to ensure that we remain faithful to our motive, we remain faithful towards humanity and Zambia’s need.
