The Finance Bank of Zambia (FBZ) is now a public limited company. This news is coming directly from the Chairman of Finance Bank Zambia, Rajan Mahtani. According to verified sources, the Finance Bank Zambia has approached the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Zambia to enlist itself on the Lusaka Stock Exchange (LuSE). The listing is expected to be done by the first quarter of the upcoming year, 2015.
The whole of structure of listing FBZ is based on floating 25% shares with intent to raise US $250 million. Additionally, it has also been confirmed that the Finance Bank of Zambia is soon going to start its operation in Malawi by December 15, 2014 and in Zimbabwe by early 2015.
